The King in Yellow
18:35PM
The King in Yellow is a two-act play, a gothic fantasy, penned at an unknown time by an unknown author. Details of the plot and themes are obscure. It was thought lost in the fire that consumed the theatre on the night of its first and only public recital. It is said to be cursed.
We have obtained the sole surviving manuscript of this sinister text, and we will not let urban legends of insanity, possession, and eldritch gods get in the way of a good show.
Preparations have been made. We are ready. Will you be witness?
Storyteller Inés Álvarez Villa will share two stories of her own creation. These gothic horror tales will take you on a journey from the high seas, where a Spanish galleon becomes a vessel of terror, to packed concert halls, where obsession dances hand in hand with the enchanting melodies of violins. It will be eery, vivid, and full of dark wonder!
