About the event

Spooky Magic and Horror Comedy in one event inside Scotland's Most Haunted Pub!

Ash Pryce and Alex Staniforth present a double hander - the first half  features bizarre, supernatural, and spooky illusions, mind reading and  psychic deception. The second half features hilarious, interactive, and  frightfully good improvised comedy horror tales where you help to decide  the direction. Both acts have been sell-out performers with the  Edinburgh Horror Festival since 2016.

In Paranormal Illusionist you'll experience unsettling psychic  illusions, mind reading and bizarre magic inside the Underground Vaults  of Edinburgh (Nicely refurbished to be comfortable... yet terrifying!).

Stand Up Horror features improvised, macabre tales featuring  (voluntary!) members of the audience as Alex leads you in a tale across  the city facing ghosts... or zombies.... or witches... or all...!? You  get to make suggestions and help guide the adventure and determine if  you live... or DIE! Mwuhahaha

Over 18s only. Followed by a night of free movies!   Entry to the event is Pay What You Can/ Donation on the door, or reserve seats here.

Show times:

Ash Pryce: Paranormal Illusionist - 8:00pm

Stand Up Horror - 9:15pm

Ticket Policy:

Due to the venue's capacity, in the event of a sell out, spaces will only be held for five minutes after the show start time, at which point any non-reserved audiences will be admitted and you risk losing your place.  The venue is open from 5pm.

The show is strictly over 18s only.

Photography is permitted but not flash photography or video recording.

You can obtain a refund up to 24 hours before the show for any reason.  After that time, requests for refunds will not be accepted by the Edinburgh Horror Festival.

Whilst in the winter months we'd recommend masking if able to (if you aren't drinking of course).  No one likes even a basic cold, let alone the plague!
