PARANORMAL ILLUSIONIST // 8:00pm

In Paranormal Illusionist you'll experience unsettling psychic illusions, mind reading and bizarre magic inside the Underground Vaults of Edinburgh (Nicely refurbished to be comfortable... yet terrifying!).   Step into the psychic's parlour for an experience with the supernatural,  the paranormal, and mind-twistingthings that go BUMP in the night as you take part in a  series of mind twisting demonstrations drawing on psychic superpowers,  spirit communication and the Seance.   Combining psychic phenomena, ESP and spirit communication with stage  mentalism, and theatre, the show will skirt the edges of what is real and what is on the other side of the veil.   This is a theatrical magic show - if we do summon demons during the course of the show, we cannot be held responsible for possessions.  Please clean up any ectoplasm brought up in fright...

STAND UP HORROR // 9:15pm

Stand Up Horror features improvised, macabre tales featuring  (voluntary!) members of the audience as Alex leads you in a tale across the city facing ghosts... or zombies.... or witches... or all...!? You  get to make suggestions and help guide the adventure and determine if  you live... or DIE! Mwuhahaha

Actor, writer and tour guide Alex Staniforth invents a horror story  every night. You decide what the characters do, find and sometimes - yes  sometimes - even love. Every night is different and every night is  horrifically hilarious.   A twice monthly event in Scotlands MOST HAUNTED PUB, come along and experience the unique, and hilarious Stand up Horror.

Ticket Policy:

Pay What You Can on the door, or reserve online for a minimum amount to ensure entry.  Due to the venue's capacity, in the event of a sell out, spaces will only be held for five minutes after the show start time, at which point any non-reserved audiences will be admitted and you risk losing your place.  The venue is open from 5pm.

The show is strictly over 18s only.

Photography is permitted but not flash photography or video recording.

You can obtain a refund up to 24 hours before the show for any reason.  After that time, requests for refunds will not be accepted by the Edinburgh Horror Festival.

Whilst in the winter months we'd recommend masking if able to.  No one likes even a basic cold, let alone the plague!
